Network

We have a strong network that encompasses various grassroots organisations that deal with social welfare, university faculty, university students and partners in the NGO sector. CA is thus able to mobilise and engage citizens in being involved in the processes that govern their lives. We provide a space where the voices of wananchi, which are often drowned out, can be heard.

Work with Persons with Disabilities

Through the Kenya Society for the blind project in Kericho CA is monitoring the implementation of the disability act and has held activities aimed at championing the rights of persons with disability.

Work with Youth

CA has been working with youth in various areas such as sports, political participation, cultural activities and embracing a non-violent political culture. The different aspects of this work are all aimed at having a more informed citizenry in this key demographic of the population.

Work with the media

We appreciate the role of the media in shaping public opinion and are therefore forming partnerships with media organisations in order to reach more people. We currently have an ongoing relationship with KBC TV where we host fortnightly talk shows on issues of democratic governance.
