What we do

Citizens Assembly (CA) provides a platform for the people to make their voices heard. This is done through various activities which include; gathering information on topical issues and how they are related to governance and development, putting information in user-friendly form and distributing it, finding out from the people themselves what they actually want and convening public forums. The forums involve panel presentations with questions and contributions from an audience that includes university students, professionals interested in the topic of the day, non-governmental organisations and community bases organisations representatives and the citizens (wananchi).

In mobilising  the citizens to attend forums, we have formed a vast network with grassroots organisations and individuals. This network has made it possible to disseminate required information on matters of public concern.
